Yesterday, as the four catches up with their grand rehearsal, they had their CNN's "Talk Asia" feature interview on " Asian Celebrities". Fluent with English, Vanness and Ken used it freely in responding to the questions, and also translated for Jerry and Zai Zai. As the four looked like a family, Vanness was fitting to be the father, Ken appeared reluctant to be the mother, and Zai Zai and Jerry as their children. F4 was interviewed by CNN for the first time, in one of the dressing rooms. It was strictly supervised- no other people were allowed to enter, no cellphones, and no photographers, that F4 was tensed as they responded to about 7-8 questions. Added to these is the bad conversation of the Young lady translator the production unit prepared for Jerry and Zai Zai, that finally, Vanness and Ken helped in the translating.
Vic is like the youngest son
They talked about how the four got selected for the group. Zai Zai was only going with his friend during the try-outs. But producer Angie Cai was beside him in the elevator and took him for the role of Hua Ze Lei. They also talked about the Asian F4 wave, and the advantages and disadvantages of being famous. They also used the family as an analogy for their relationship. Serous Vanness appeared to be proper as the father, loves to take care of things made Ken fit to be the mother, Zai Zai's character is similar to be the youngest son, and Jerry is the eldest brother.
Going up to the Hong Kan Stage again
Tonight, after three years, F4 will again rise at Hong Kan stage and has matured all these years. Jerry's throat infection before has now recovered well. Most special is Zai Zai, aside from singing his drama soundtrack songs, he will sing Andy Lau (Hua Zi)'s "Zhuan Shi De Yan Lei (Diamond Tears) ", "Wo Hen Wo Chi Xin ( I hate my foolish heart)" which was arranged to be a group song. He will also do a dance number on the stage, and dearly wishes that Hua Zi can be there with him at the stage so he can see him sing his song.
F4 visits Kindergarten, Foursome Showcase CharmF4 is currently working hard in their rehersals for their coming concert. As Ren Ci hospital is one of the sponsors for the concert this time round, the four of them took time out to the kindergarten and training centre under Ren Ci to visit in order to know their service.On the day of the event, F4 was influenced by the energetic and adorable kids at the centres. They played games with them and even prepared sweets and presents for them, making them so happy and very crowded atmosphere. Among, Jerry and Vanness went to Yuan Xuan School under Ren Ci hospital to visit. When they arrived, they were made happy by little children who wore the tang suits. Both even got the little girl's liking, who kept talking to them and they sang the children's song, Feng Yang Hua Gu with the kids. However, when they were playing the hulla hoop with the children, their tall build became their burden and couldn't win the little kids and was defeated.During the event, the popular part was still the present giving out section. Jerry and Vanness showed their big brothers attitude and gave presents to the little children. When Jerry saw this fat little kid who was very cute, he couldn't help but chatted with him.Ken and Zai went to Yan Xu Yu Shan's kindergarten to visit and played games with the children there. When they were playing the "Da Feng Cui" game, they were very engrossed in the game. When everyone was throwing bean bags, Ken's team won in the end and Ken immediately raise his hands to show victory. Both were laughing out loud whenever they saw the children's funny expressions. Afterwhich, the kids presented the tee-shirts which they drew F4 on it to Ken and Zaizai as memories. During the present giving ceremony, they were invited by many to takes pictures together. Among, girls made up the most percentage and both of them were praising these little girls for their bravery.
Ken Chu's cookingF4's Ken Chu is being titled as the genius little cook with ten years of experience. He have said that if he weren't a
celebrity, he would be a chef in future, placing out his future.F4 will be having their
concert on Wednesday and Ken arrived in HK the earliest. Earlier on, he was photographed with his assistant going to the supermarket and buying lots of food. Ken admits he is someone who loves shopping in the supermarket. On the days he don't have to work, he'll buy as leisure. Even when he came to HK to prepare for his singing, he would cook for F3 whenever he has the time.Before he came into the
entertainment circle, Ken was a chef in a Japanese resturant in Taipei. However, he did not give up cooking because he became a artiste. With ten years of experience, Ken said, "When you cook a great dish, the sense of satisfaction is huge. It is similiar when you release a good album and release a good
movie!" Other than that, Ken enjoys looking at the people's _expression when tasting his food, "I enjoy seeing the way people taste my food, the satisfied look, it's just like when i eat something good, i will be so happy!"In the past, Ken enjoys cooking for his girlfriend. During Valentine's at 19 years old, Ken cooked for his girlfriend because he wasn't able to afford a gift. However, Ken finds that cooking for girlfriend's way is already outdated. He laughed and said, "I have been spending Valentine's Day alone for 3 years, girls nowadays won't care for a guy who cooks, it's not valuable anymore!"Among F4, Zaizai tastes Ken's cooking the most. Ken said, "We live nearby and Zaizai is a lazy person. It's best when someone delivers the food to his mouth. So whenever i cook a new dish, i will ask him over and give me a little opinion." As to Jerry and Vanness, they have all praises for Ken's cooking skills, especially the dumplings he does.Till today, Ken still cannot adapt to the intersting life in the entertainment circle but he prefers being alone. He can don't leave the house for several days, staying home alone,
reading, playing games, cooking. He have set his determination that in future when he is no longer a artiste, he would
be a chef and show all his cooking skills!
CNN interviews F4.Gets off from transcript problems and quickly responded to questionsYesterday afternoon, F4 had the one-hour interview with CNN at the Hong Kan Coliseum. CNN took one cameraman from Wutai, one Taiwanese director, and the rest are the Taiwanese F4. For the interview, Vanness and Ken immediately used English to reply to the questions, Zaizai and Jerry spoke through translators, and used Mandarin to reply. In the interview, majority of the questions were given to F4 beforehand for review, to talk about how they started to become famous. But the director behind he scene then requested that no embarrasing questions should be asked. The four were asked about what they think on China's ban to broadcast "Meteor Garden" in the mainland. Although F4 has already thought about it as a big issue, just then, they quickly replied, that they are just actors, its only right for them to just juggle on good acting, and to attract the viewers. Problems in its broadcast are not their concern to worry about. In addition, the four were also asked that if F4 is a family, what would be their roles? Vanness answered that he would be like the father, Ken said that he would be the mother, "Bao long " Jerry said that he is the eldest brother and Zai Zai is the youngest brother.
F4 visits sweet young childrenF4's "Forever 4" concert will be held next evening at the Hong Kan Coliseum in Hong Kong. The other day, they took advantage of their rehearsal break and divided into F2 to go visit a charity hospital's children's educational center and kindergarden, and invited the children for a impromtu sing-along. Jerry Yan (first picture) and Vanness Wu (third picture) brought candy boxes when they went there. Wearing traditional chinese dresses, the children immediately played and laughed with them. They all sang " Feng Yang Hua Gu" together and played games. Vic Zhou and Ken Zhu (2nd picture) also laughed and played games with the children. As these four men came out to be stronger, its no doubt that the box office concert tickets would sell like hotcakes.
Nearing to their concert, F4 takes goodwill visit to happily play with childrenF4 will begin their 4-night concert series "Forever 4 2006 Concert" tomorrow, and the four were recently actively rehearsing. Because Ren Ji hospital is the benefit organization of the concert proceeds, thus the four especially went there in two's at the Yuan Xuan Early Educational Training Center and Kindergarten School for a goodwill visit. As soon as Jerry Yan and Vanness Wu arrived at the center, they were immediately met by a big classroom full of cute children wearing traditional costumes,and happily playing. They also made young girls happy as they talked and played with them, and both even sang with them the "Feng Yang Hua Gu" song as they went around the room. But when they were playing with the children, their tall bodies appeared actually tired, in no match with the children's high energy level and lost in the games. Later, they presented a huge group gift and at the same time solved this big picture puzzle with the children. When Jerry saw a very cute fat child, he cant help but to play with him at once. Happily played games As Zai Zai Vic Zhou and Ken Zhu arrived to visit the kindergarten class, they also played with the children. When they were playing "Da Feng Chui (Big Blow)" game, they threw the bean packs too much, and Ken's team won the game. Ken was very happy and gave the victory sign. Both men were also frequently playing jokes with the children. Later, the children gave a Tshirt with an "F4 personal drawing" as a souvenir for Vic and Ken. During the gift giving rites, the children still kept asking the two for picture-taking, majority of those are young girls. The two men cant also help but to brag about the really daring acts of these small women.
