crazy over JY.
Even Jerry Yan –who played Dao Ming Si from hit series 'Meteor Garden'–was only singing 3 songs, his long-awaited appearance on 22nd of July before the fans definitely satisfied them. Around 2000 people gathered in Sand Int. Executive Club Mangga 2 Square, Jakarta felt like being hypnotized by him. Wearing a long white sleeve shirt and beige pants, Jerry looked elegant. Fans didn't really care with an inappropriate venue decoration which is far from perfect for a music concert. They were sitting quietly in their tables, but only until Jerry came out on the stage to sing "Wo Shi Zhen De Zhen De Hen Ai Ni" Fans gave him the loudest cheers & swarmed to the front stage instantly to get a better view. After finishing the first song, Jerry greeted his fans in pretty good Indonesian like, "Saya Cinta Kamu"(I love you), "terima kasih(thank you). It instantly received big cheers from fans -mostly women - amongst others brought flags and posters. The second song that he sang was "One meter", which is also Yi Gong Chi. After he sang One meter, taken from his only album, "Jerry For You' the host for the night of this event, 1st anniversary of the club, Nirina Zubir, was able to liven up the atmosphere with her jokes, trying to be romantic with Jerry and stuff. It even got big cheers when she announced that Jerry will have a duet with Agnes Monica. Unfortunately, the fans hysteria was not really followed by Jerry and Agnes who seemed to act awkward with each other. Both of them mostly faced the audience, seemed to have a solo singing than a duet. Only once in a while, they looked at each other. Luckily, at the end of "Yue Liang Dai Biao Wo De Xin" orignally sang by Teresa Teng, Jerry kissed Agnes's cheek. That was the only romantic gesture that happened in the duet performance from two actors who played in the Taiwan series, the Hospital. Before Jerry's appearance, Agnes Monica had her performance first on stage. She was celebrating her 20th bday just beginning of last month, owned the stage with her energetic appearance. She was accompanied by 7- male back dancers, began the show with her hit single, "Bilang Saja? With her short pants and pink top, she looked like gaining a little weight, nonetheless it didn't prevent her from performing well. She hit every corner of the stage with her vigorous dance moves. Former child singer sang 8 songs in total, among others: Jera, Tak Ada Logika, Bukan milikmu? She really delivered that night. Clothes auction, On this event, Jerry was also auctioning some of his stuff, like bracelet, necklace and clothes, to which 2 of lucky fans all the way from Japan won the auction. The auction successfully gathered Rp. 48million and will be donated to help the ones deserved through Red Cross Indonesia. Jerry Yan first set foot in Jakarta 3 years ago together with his buddies from F4 and performed in Kemayoran, Jakarta. Even Jerry came alone this time, the airport was full packed with his fans. Approximately 200 fans from Jerry Yan's Family Indonesia gathered . Some of the fans are from Hongkong, Japan and Taiwan who reside in Indonesia.

Just back to Taibei from Indonesia, my last visit to Jakarta was 3 years ago. l am very happy to be able to meet a lot of fans at the airport on my arrival. It's a pity that the gathering area was in a muddle, I didn't get a chance to say hello to everyone and was pushed into the car by the security guard. I would like to say thanks to everybody here. It's so touching and glad to the fans who volunteered to support this public welfare charity activity . So great can help the one who lives below the poverty line together. In the Charity Auction of the concert of Jerry Yan-Agnes Monica, Taiwanse star Jerry Yan and his co-star singer Agnes Monica appeared on stage. By turns, they entertained not less than 2000 spectators that filled up the Stars Night event at the Sands International Executive Club (SIEC) Jakarta, last Saturday night. The audience came not only from across the country. Apart from hundreds of people who trooped are the Jerry Yan Family Indonesia (JYFI) organization, and there were 10 people who specially flew from Japan to witness the appearance of one of the F4 members. Wearing kimono clothes, they were distinctly seen in the row of the spectators. Moreover, there were fans that came from Singapore, Hong Kong, and Bangkok. Before Agnes and Jerry walked to the stage, the master of ceremonies Nirina Zubir and Michael opened the event. Both of them then invited the dancers and danced the typical Samba of Brazil. After that, the singer from Tiongkok, Yang Ming, entertained the audience with several songs. Not long after Yang Ming went down, Agnes showed her teeth.Accompanied by a band and her dancers , Agnes was the first to appear through the song Every Then. She played the opponent of Jerry in the TV serial The Hospital, and carried on her new dress, Victorian Harajuku Kinky Style. "Are you happy to be here?" " Do you want me or Jerry? It would certainly please him," said Agnes to the audience then laughed. Agnes then followed her act by singing the mellow Wary. Then followed by the song in soundtrack of TV serial The Hospital. After Agnes sang eight songs, it was now idol Jerry Yan's turn to entertain the audience. Jerry walked by the stage around 9:30 pm with white baggy pants and a cream shirt. Without the courtesy, the actor Dao Ming Shi of Meteor Garden sang the song of Wo Men Cen, De Hen Ai Ni immediately. The audience who must have paid a minimal Rp 6 million per the table immediately were hysterical. "Hallo¡Terima kasih," he said when he paused in the middle of the song. After singing, it was Nirina's turn to act. Using Mandarin language, the cute presenter asked whether Jerry liked to come to Indonesia. "I like it. This is my second time to come here after three years," replied Jerry, as being translated by Nirina. "The main thing is, I liked the girls who made me happy," replied the owner of the Mandarin name Yan Cheng Xu when being asked whether he liked the Indonesian woman or not. The show was not only filled up with Agnes and Jerry. The emcee duet also spread out various games. One of them, is the race to arrange a Jerry picture puzzle. The participants came from two respective teams and each team consisted of two people. The winner was given a present of Jerry's original photograph plus the signature as well as the poster. Moreover, definitely, shook hands with Jerry Yan. The second song of Jerry Yan was entitled One Meter that was taken from his album with the same title. As usual, the spectators were hysterical when they heard the voice of the man who was born on January 1 1977. This concert was also filled up by a charity event for the victims of the tsunami disaster in Pangdandaran and several other areas last week. Through the auction was closed on the necklace, the bracelet, as well as Jerry's clothes, the fund that was collected will be donated. Based on the results of Nirina's announcement, there were two donors who gave the highest offer. Both of them came from Japan. They were willing to grope in Rp 48 million for Jerry's clothes. Taiwanese Star Jerry Yan returned to Indonesia. Aboard China Airlines that exactly landed at 8:25pm, an F4 member landed at the Soekarno-Hatta Airport, in Jakarta, last Friday night. Jerry was welcomed by 120 fans from the Jerry Yan Family Indonesia (JYFI). They who came by two buses arrived at 6 pm to patiently wait for the arrival of the actor Dao Ming Si in the TV serial Meteor Garden. Apart from JYFI, other groups who initially did not learn on Jerry's arrival then joined in the waiting. According to sources, belasan fans of Jerry Yan from overseas had been waiting inside the airport since 11:00 am. They consisted of eight Taiwanese and 10 other people from Hong Kong and Japan. Several minutes before Jerry emerged, JYFI was ready with the banners and small flags where there were pictures and messages for Jerry Yan. There was also written I love you (I Love You). More than that, JYFI has practised singing songs of Jerry Yan. Moreover, they yelled and the song that was planned to be sung wasnt done. "Ow, boro-boro singing." Like when they saw him, they immediately forgot all of them, said Indigo, one of the JYFI members from Surabaya, who gasped for breath after running and chasing Jerry.Endang, another JYFI member, admitted she got disappointed with the security system that was too tight. Nevertheless, her disappointment was compensated because she has in her pocket the ticket to watch the concert of Jerry Yan and Agnes Monica that took place at the Sands International Executive Club (SIEC).
